About Thomas Mohr, MD, FAAP

Thomas Mohr, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. He is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Mohr provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. He has always enjoyed working with children and his focus was cemented in medical school by pediatrician mentors who genuinely cared about their patients. Dr. Mohr likes how positive children are no matter how difficult the circumstances and that motivates him to guide families through their health care journey. As a pediatrician for 30 years, his advice to parents is to relax and enjoy your children as they grow up because it goes by quickly.

Dr. Mohr completed his residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospital/UCSF School of Medicine and earned his medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Mohr is fluent in German.

In his free time, Dr. Mohr likes traveling with his family and enjoying good food.
