About Elizabeth Bevins, MD, PhD
Elizabeth Murphy Bevins, MD, PhD, is a neurologist who treats patients with general neurology disorders. She also focuses on memory disorders and neurodegenerative disease, including Alzheimer's disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, frontotemporal dementia and primary progressive aphasia. In addition, Dr. Bevins evaluates and treats adult patients with Down syndrome who are experiencing cognitive changes.
She completed a fellowship in memory disorders at UC San Diego Health, where she also did her residency in neurology. She earned her PhD in neurosciences and medical degree at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Her personal interests include world travel (she has visited over 120 countries), writing, and spending time outside with her husband and daughters.
