About Victoria Sharma, MD
Victoria Sharma, MD, is a board-certified sleep medicine physician who cares for patients with sleep disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, parasomnia, idiopathic hypersomnia, rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder, narcolepsy and restless legs syndrome.
She is highly conscientious and strives to go above and beyond to provide patients with the best possible care. Dr. Sharma listens to each individual to ensure that she truly understands their situation in order to provide treatment that best suits their lifestyle.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Sharma practiced sleep medicine and served as medical director for sleep disorders at Sharp Grossmont Hospital Center for Sleep Disorders in San Diego and SSM Center for Sleep Disorders in St. Louis.
Dr. Sharma completed fellowship training in sleep medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she also completed residency training in adult neurology. She earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in St. Louis. She is board certified in sleep medicine and adult neurology.
In her free time, Dr. Sharma enjoys hiking, reading, travel and spending time with her family.
