About Miguel Cordoba, MD, FAAP

Miguel Cordoba, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. He is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Cordoba provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. He has a special interest in weight loss and caring for children with asthma. Dr. Cordoba believes it is important to make patients feel comfortable and he involves them in their own care as much as possible. He feels by building trust, he can provide better care.

Dr. Cordoba completed his residency at Children's Hospital of Orange County and earned his medical degree at UC Davis School of Medicine. He is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Cordoba is fluent in Spanish.

In his free time, he enjoys being with my family, playing golf and learning guitar.
