Mufaddal Q. Dahodwala, MD, MS, FACP

Mufaddal Dahodwala, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine doctor. He treats adult diseases, including acute and chronic conditions, through the concierge medicine program at UC San Diego Health. Concierge Medicine is a primary care option that requires an annual fee and offers enhanced services, extended amenities and 24/7 access.

Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Dahodwala practiced internal medicine and was an assistant professor of medicine at UC Los Angeles, where he received multiple teaching commendations from medical students. His previous practice drew patients from several states, and included many patients with complex cases that required frequent specialist collaboration.

Dr. Dahodwala approaches patient care by looking at the many life factors that contribute to health. He has a particular interest in the science of longevity, especially seen through a cardiometabolic lens. He believes in using science to promote preventative care, and for those who are interested, can focus on the latest advances in nutrition and exercise to promote well-being. He considers himself a partner and advisor, and wants to help patients make the best decisions for themselves, using the best tools and technology available.

Dr. Dahodwala completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at UC Los Angeles. He earned his medical degree at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and master's degree in clinical and translational science at Rutgers - Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He is board certified in internal medicine.
