She facilitates spine treatments prior to surgical intervention and provides pre- and post-operative care in conjunction with spine surgeons.
Megan enjoys caring for patients and spending the necessary time with them at their appointments to ensure they understand all of their options for treatment and have the best treatment outcomes. Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, she worked in orthopedic private practice in the Bay Area and San Diego, and also at UC San Francisco Health. She worked for five years as a registered nurse before transitioning into her role as a nurse practitioner.
Megan earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree at UC Los Angeles and her bachelor of science degree in nursing at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
