About Megan McClain, NP
Megan McClain, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who cares for patients with spinal stenosis, vertebral fractures, acute and chronic pain throughout the spine and other concerns related to the spine. She facilitates spine treatments prior to surgical intervention and provides pre- and post-operative care in conjunction with spine surgeons.
Megan enjoys caring for patients and spending the necessary time with them at their appointments to ensure they understand all of their options for treatment and have the best treatment outcomes. It is extremely important to her to advocate for her patients and ensure their recovery is seamless with the goal for them to return to the best quality of life possible.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, she worked in orthopedic private practice in the Bay Area and San Diego, and also at UC San Francisco Health.
