Colette Grant, MD, FAAP

Colette Grant, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Grant provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She has practiced pediatrics in Riverside County since 1999, and loves being an active partner with her patients' families and watching their children grow.

Her special area of interest is
breastfeeding. Dr. Grant enjoyed nursing her three children and is thrilled when a mother baby pair has success with this unique area of motherhood. She also is passionate about education and believes the parent is the ultimate educator. Dr. Grant says her role as a pediatrician is to answer questions and empower parents to make important decisions about their children's health and well-being.

Dr. Grant completed her residency at UC Irvine School of Medicine and earned her medical degree at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).

Outside of work, Dr. Grant enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
