Jennifer J. Wu, MD, is a board-certified family medicine doctor. She provides primary care for patients of all ages and in all stages of their life, including preventive care, women's health care, pediatric care, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.
She treats the whole family and develops long-term relationships with her patients. She also provides prenatal care for women, delivers babies, and cares for new families postpartum.
As a professor of family medicine and public health, Dr. Wu is trains medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Wu completed her residency training at UC San Francisco - Fresno Family Medicine Residency Program.
She obtained her master's degree in medical education (MSEd) at the University of Southern California. She earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College. She is board certified in family medicine, and she is a certified lactation consultant.
Dr. Wu has been named a " Top Doc" in San Diego Magazine's " Physicians of Exceptional Excellence" annual survey performed in collaboration with the San Diego County Medical Society.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and crafting.
