Christine B. Miller, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN. She provides comprehensive care to women, including maternity care, well-woman care, and treatment for common gynecological issues such as abnormal Pap smears, fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, or gynecological infections.
Dr. Miller loves practicing at an academic medical center because it allows her to both care for patients and be involved in the training of her future colleagues. She also finds it extremely gratifying to form relationships with patients and to be a part of their lives over the years.
As a professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, Dr. Miller instructs and advises medical students and residents at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She also directs the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program.
Dr. Miller completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. She earned her medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Miller is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In 2012, U.S. News & World Report named Dr. Miller one of the nation's top doctors in OB/GYN. She has also been elected as a top doctor in San Diego Magazine's "Physicians of Exceptional Excellence" annual survey performed in collaboration with the San Diego County Medical Society.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and exercising regularly.
