Armelia Sani, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine doctor. She provides primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Dr. Sani has a special interest in women's health and patient education.
Dr. Sani cares most about creating a bond with her patients, helping them feel better and educating them about the disease process and health promotion. She also enjoys working in an academic setting that's on the leading edge of research and medical advancement.
As a professor in the Department of Medicine, she is involved in training medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Sani completed her residency training at Stanford University. She earned her medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School. She is board certified in internal medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).
Dr. Sani enjoys spending time with family and friends, and outdoor activities like tennis, running and hiking.
