About Andrew Yen, MD
Andrew Yen, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist who specializes in chest imaging.
As a professor of radiology at UC San Diego School of Medicine, is involved in training and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows. For his excellence in teaching, he has received the division faculty teaching award in cardiothoracic imaging and the silver spoon teaching award in radiology.
Dr. Yen completed a fellowship in thoracic imaging at Stanford University School of Medicine and a residency in diagnostic radiology from UC Irvine School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University.
He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Society of Thoracic Radiology. Dr. Yen is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
