About Anne C. Roberts, MD
Anne C. Roberts, MD, is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist who specializes in treating women's health issues with minimally invasive interventional radiology techniques.
Her areas of expertise include treating uterine fibroids with uterine artery embolization and magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound. She performs catheter recanalization techniques to open blocked fallopian tubes in women who are trying to get pregnant and offers non-surgical alternatives to tubal ligation with permanent implantable birth control (the Essure procedure). She also treats women with chronic pelvic pain caused by pelvic congestion syndrome.
Dr. Roberts has received numerous awards for her excellence in patient care and contributions to the field of vascular radiology.
Her research is currently focused on advancing treatment techniques for uterine fibroids.
Dr. Roberts completed a fellowship in vascular radiology and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Harvard Medical School. She completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Roberts earned her medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine. She is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and vascular and interventional radiology.
