Mary Anne Laxa, MD, FAAP

Mary Anne Laxa, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Laxa provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She is committed to providing the best and most comprehensive, quality medical care possible in close collaboration with her colleagues and staff. Dr. Laxa believes in the practice of evidence-based medicine in a family-centered environment. She feels the community will be a better place if each child and family are happy and healthy.

Dr. Laxa completed her residency at University of the Philippines Manila – Philippine General Hospital and earned her medical degree at Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. She is board certified in pediatrics and neonatology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Laxa is fluent in Tagalog.
