Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, he was the clinical director and member of the executive board at Psychiatric Services Grisons, chief psychiatrist at a private clinic, and medical director for the Swiss Military and Civil Protection Care Team Grischun in Switzerland.

Dr. Schneeberger completed his residency training in psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and earned his medical degree from University of Basel Medical School in Switzerland. He is board certified in psychiatry in the U.S. and Switzerland.
