About Heather Orosco, MMS, PA-C

Heather Orosco, MMS, is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) who helps care for neuro-oncology patients including performing lumbar puncture procedures and administering intrathecal (IT) chemotherapy.

She has been with UC San Diego Health since 2013 and prior to that practiced as a physician assistant in neurosurgery for ten years at Rhode Island Hospital.

Ms. Orosco completed a masters of medical science degree from Yale University School of Medicine and an undergraduate degree in biology from Roger Williams University.

She is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physical Assistants.
