About Nancy Law, DO, MPH

Nancy Law, DO, is a board-certified infectious disease specialist. Her expertise is in treating and preventing infections in immunocompromised individuals, including those with malignant disorders, stem-cell transplant recipients and solid-organ transplant recipients. She serves as assistant director of epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship for immunocompromised services at UC San Diego Health.

As an assistant professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine's Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Public Health, Dr. Law is involved in the education and training of medical students, residents and fellows. She is associate director for the infectious diseases fellowship program.

Dr. Law completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at Drexel University College of Medicine in her hometown of Philadelphia and a second fellowship in transplant infectious diseases at University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa. Dr. Law earned her medical degree for A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, where she also completed a master's degree in public health with a concentration in health planning and geriatric health. She is board certified in both internal medicine and infectious disease by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.

She is an active member of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, the American Society of Transplant Infectious Disease Community of Practice and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Law currently serves on the board for the Bureau of Osteopathic Education.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling and adventures with her husband and family. She speaks conversational Mandarin.
