About Nicole D'Souza, MSW, LCSW

Nicole D'Souza is a licensed clinical social worker with Integrated Behavioral Health at UC San Diego Health, where she collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally competent services within the primary care setting. She primarily treats adults with depression, anxiety, trauma and chronic pain.

Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, Nicole strives to create a safe space for patients to openly process their worries and concerns while simultaneously providing them with the appropriate tools for coping.

Nicole's professional background is in the health care space, supporting patients as they navigate various psychosocial stressors associated with chronic disease and illness.

She received her master's degree in social work from the University of Southern California with an emphasis on adult mental health and wellness.
