About Suvesh Chandiok, MD, FACE
Suvesh Chandiok, MD, is a board-certified endocrinologist specializing in a variety of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, growth, hormone disorders, calcium disorders, osteoporosis, and pituitary gland disorders.
He values forming long-term relationship with his patients with chronic diseases, like diabetes, and improving their lives by delaying and preventing the many complications associated with diabetes.
Dr. Chandiok has been in practice for nearly 30 years. Before joining UC San Diego Health he served in many roles including medical director, quality risk management and clinician with Riverside Medical Clinic. He was also affiliated with the University of California Riverside School of Medicine where he held an appointment as clinical professor of medicine.
He completed fellowship training in endocrinology at UC Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine and residency training in internal medicine at Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Chandiok earned his medical degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.
He is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Dr. Chandiok is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.
In his spare time, he likes to travel and enjoys photography and hiking. Most of all, his pride and joy is being a grandparent which is what brought him to San Diego.
