Amy Trautman, PA

Amy Trautman, PA, is a certified physician assistant providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a primary care physician assistant, Ms. Trautman provides care to people of all ages, including diagnosing and treating patients. She also has experience in skin and wound care, orthopedics, and nutrition. Ms. Trautman enjoys continually learning and bettering herself for the sake of her patients. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she worked as a dietician and as an emergency medical technician (EMT).

Ms. Trautman earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and her bachelor's degree at University of North Dakota. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
