About Kanchan Kohli, MD

Kanchan Kohli, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who treats patients ages 65 and older who may have depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, major neurocognitive disorder with behavioral disturbances and anxiety disorders.

She appreciates being able to work with both patients and their families to help develop a personalized approach and treatment plan that will support them in achieving their individual treatment goals as well as improving their overall well-being.

As an assistant professor of psychiatry, she is involved in training medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine.

She completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry and residency in psychiatry at University of New Mexico School of Medicine where she also earned her medical degree.
