About Luke Webster, MD
Luke Webster, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist (kidney specialist) who treats acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease (ESKD), electrolyte abnormalities, and glomerulonephritis (inflammation of the tiny filters in the kidneys called glomeruli).
As an assistant professor of medicine, Dr. Webster trains medical students, interns and residents. He also conducts research related to kidney disease.
Dr. Webster completed a fellowship in nephrology and hypertension at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where he was also chief resident in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb. Dr. Webster is board certified in internal medicine.
He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) national medical society and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN).
In his free time, Dr. Webster enjoys spending time with family and friends, running and, traveling.
