About Eden Brown, MSW, LCSW
Eden Brown is a licensed clinical social worker and provides integrated behavioral health services alongside primary care physicians at UC San Diego Health's Rancho Bernardo location for both mental health and health behavior-related concerns. She specializes in working with children and adolescents, sexual and reproductive health, and diverse populations including Spanish and Portuguese speakers. Coming from a systems theory and social justice perspective, Eden primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and mindful self-compassion in her work with clients.
Her experience prior to joining UC San Diego Health includes four years as a therapist at Family Health Centers of San Diego and over 10 years as a child outpatient clinical social worker and community health educator at Cambridge Health Alliance in Boston.
She earned a master's degree in social work at Hunter College in New York and her bachelor's degree in sociology at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
