Katherine Clifford, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Clifford provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She decided to be a pediatrician at age 10 and has always had a love for science and a desire to help others. While in medical school, she considered other specialties, such as anesthesia and family medicine, but found she was happiest when working in pediatrics. Getting to know families over the years and watching their children grow up and blossom is one of the most rewarding aspects of her career.
Dr. Clifford completed her residency at University of Nevada in Las Vegas and earned her medical degree at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Clifford is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of work, Dr. Clifford enjoys spending time with her three children going on local adventures, doing crafts or playing games at home, playing sports and enjoying time with friends and family. She likes music, reading, and listening to comedy, as well as laughing and eating delicious food.
