Resham Batra, MD  

Resham Batra, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through Perlman Pediatrics. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.  

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.  

As a pediatrician, Dr. Batra provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She enjoys building a rapport with families and seeing children grow. Dr. Batra believes in open communication with her patients and families, and giving them the information they need to be the best advocates for their own health. She strives to encourage and educate her patients and families about healthy lifestyle habits in prevention of disease.

Dr. Batra completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Michigan and earned her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten. She is board certified in pediatrics and lifestyle medicine, and fluent in Hindi.

In her free time, Dr. Batra appreciates the beautiful weather in San Diego and is happy being outdoors, hiking and playing tennis. Her other interests include traveling, spending time with family and friends, and doing Zumba.
