Felipe Cameroamortegui, DO

Felipe Cameroamortegui, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. He is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network. 

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region. 

As a pediatrician, Dr. Cameroamortegui provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. He decided to become a pediatrician during medical school after a medical service trip where he enjoyed working in the pediatric clinic. What attracts him to pediatrics is the ability to care for and change children's lives and to care for the most vulnerable population in the family, as well as work closely with families on their well-being.

Dr. Cameroamortegui completed his residency in pediatrics at Authority Health/ Michigan State University Children's Hospital and earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in pediatrics and fluent in Spanish.

Outside of work, Dr. Cameroamortegui enjoys spending time with his wife and children doing all the wonderful activities they can find. They like traveling and going on outings to theme parks, beaches, casual restaurants and parks. As a family, they also enjoy cooking, gardening, doing art projects and playing around their house.
