About Chari Stump, MD, FAAP
Chari Stump, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Stump provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She feels pediatrics is the best field of medicine. Dr. Stump loves interacting with children daily, as well as watching them grow and offering her support. It is a privilege for her to work closely with families to ensure the best care for their kids.
Dr. Stump completed her residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and earned her medical degree at New York Medical College. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
In her free time, Dr. Stump enjoys running, cycling with her husband, hiking, walking at the beach and practicing Pilates. She also loves reading fiction and finds it relaxing to escape into the pages of a good novel.
