About Manuel Moreno, NP

Manuel Moreno, NP, is a certified family nurse practitioner providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. He is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a family nurse practitioner, Mr. Moreno takes care of the primary and urgent care needs of people of all ages. He also has experience as a cardiology and adult-gerontology nurse practitioner. Mr. Moreno takes a special interest in practicing cardiovascular, men's health and preventive medicine. 

Mr. Moreno earned his Master of Science in nursing from San Diego State University. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Outside of work, Mr. Moreno enjoys exercising, spending time with family and friends, and helping the LGBTQ community.
