About Vivian Tung, MD, FAAP
Vivian Tung, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Tung provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. Her passion for working with kids and love of science are what drew her to pediatrics. Dr. Tung enjoys working with children of all ages and all aspects of pediatrics. She also has a special interest in helping children with food allergies, asthma and eczema.
Dr. Tung completed her residency at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and earned her medical degree at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Tung is fluent in Mandarin.
Outside of work, Dr. Tung enjoys traveling, playing tennis, cooking and spending time with her husband and three children.
