About Veronica Reinherz, MD, FAAP
Veronica Reinherz, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Reinherz provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She decided to become a pediatrician because of her love for children. Being able to help educate, prevent and cure illnesses in children is rewarding for her. Dr. Reinherz loves childrens' innocence, funny stories and honesty. She enjoys building a relationship with families as she strives to provide the best outcomes for their children.
Dr. Reinherz completed her residency at Tulane University School of Medicine and earned her medical degree at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Reinherz is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of work, Dr. Reinherz enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. They love playing games, camping and watching movies together. She also enjoys listening to music and attending festivals, playing soccer, traveling and volunteering at an orphanage in Mexico.
