Nicole Writer, PA

Nicole Writer, PA, is a certified physician assistant providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

Ms. Writer enjoys providing primary care to people of all ages and has experience in family medicine treating patients in various life stages. She is committed to listening to her patients and practicing up-to-date, evidence-based medicine to provide quality care. Ms. Writer believes in developing a trusting and encouraging relationship with her patients.

She earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and her bachelor's degree at Texas A&M University in College Station. Ms. Writer is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Ms. Writer shares her love of medicine with her husband, who is a physician, and their greatest joy is their daughter. She enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, kayaking, beach running, exploring restaurants and experiencing new things with friends and family. In addition, she likes volunteering for medical missions and serving the community.
