Jennifer Gomez, MMS, PA-C

Jennifer Gomez, MMS, is a certified physician assistant who provides care as part of the urologic oncology team, specializing in cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney and testes. She also practices general urology.

Ms. Gomez finds great fulfillment in providing the highest level of care and support for her patients. She takes pride in playing a role in enhancing patient care and outcomes. She strives for professional growth and excellence and as a member of the American Urological Association, is able to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Ms. Gomez cared for patients at The Urology Center of Colorado where she practiced general urology with an emphasis in urologic cancer surveillance, men's health and robotic surgical assistance.

Ms. Gomez completed her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz. and her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Loyola University in Chicago. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.

Outside of work, she loves immersing herself in nature. Hiking and skiing are two of her favorite activities, and she always enjoys spending quality time with her dog, Norman.
