About Jennifer Netzel, MS, AGNP-C, RN
Jennifer Netzel, MS, is a certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner. She believes in a holistic approach to care, patient empowerment and evidence-based practices. Her special interests include geriatrics and healthcare policy.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Ms. Netzel worked at other nation-leading medical centers such as the Mayo Clinic and Cedars-Sinai. She also worked at UC San Diego Health as a nurse prior to earning her advanced practice degree. In the past, she was a board member for the American Association for Critical Care Nurses and was active in medical volunteering in underserved populations.
Ms. Netzel earned her master's degree from UC Los Angeles and her bachelor's degree in nursing from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, spending time with her family, playing soccer, hiking, skiing and learning to surf.
