About Jenny Yang, MD
Jenny Yang, MD is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician, who specializes in pulmonary vascular disease. Her clinical and research interests are in pulmonary vascular medicine, including pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension. She has developed a special focus in balloon pulmonary angioplasty for chronic thromboembolic disease. She also cares for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
As an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Dr. Yang trains medical students, interns, residents, and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Yang completed her fellowship and residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where she also served as chief fellow during her last year of training. She earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Yang is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care.
