About Alyssa Beck, MD
Alyssa Beck, MD, is a medical oncologist who specializes in treating breast cancer. She offers the most effective and modern treatments for her patients and enjoys supporting each person throughout their treatment and beyond. Dr. Beck delivers personalized care based on each person's unique goals and background.
Her research has sought to determine the role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells in solid malignancies including breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and lung cancers. She has also conducted a retrospective data analysis of Oncotype DX results in uninsured and underrepresented patient populations.
She completed fellowship training in oncology at Scripps Clinic/MD Anderson and residency training in oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She also completed oncology and internal medicine residency training at Louisiana State University. She earned her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Dr. Beck is board certified in internal medicine.
Outside of work, she enjoys dance, travel, yoga, surfing, going to the beach and hiking with her Australian shepherds.
