About Christopher Ingraham, MD

Christopher Ingraham, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist who uses image-guided, minimally invasive, non-surgical approaches to diagnose and treat disease. His areas of expertise include vascular anomalies such as arteriovenous malformations, arteriovenous fistulas, venous and lymphatic malformations, renal and lung ablation, desmoid treatment/ablation, hepatobiliary interventions, solid organ transplant interventions, dialysis interventions, trauma and inferior vena cava (IVC) filter removal.

Dr. Ingraham enjoys working with patients to offer improvement or solutions to clinical problems and to treat complex disorders when other options may not be available.

He has extensive background in interventional training programs and served as program director at University of Washington School of Medicine before joining UC San Diego Health. As an associate professor of radiology at UC San Diego School of Medicine, he is involved in the education and mentoring of residents and medical students. He finds training the next generation of interventional radiologists extremely rewarding.

Dr. Ingraham completed fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, where he also completed a residency in diagnostic radiology, serving as chief resident. He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine.

He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe, and International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies.

In his free time, he enjoys tennis, skiing, snowboarding, traveling the world, and reading history and non-fiction.
