About Clarissa Chan, PA-C

Clarissa Chan, PA, is a certified physician assistant who helps provide comprehensive care for people of all ages. She offers treatment for a wide range of acute and chronic diseases and injuries, along with preventive care.

Clarissa believes in a patient-centered approach with an emphasis on shared decision-making and transparency. She finds the relationships that she forms with patients to be rewarding and looks forward to helping patients achieve the best health possible throughout every stage of life.

Prior to transitioning to family medicine in primary care, Clarissa cared for patients in express care and urgent care settings at UC San Diego Health.

She completed her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Stanford University School of Medicine and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Outside of work, Clarissa enjoys long walks with her Golden Retriever, Charlie, running and discovering new delicious restaurants.
