Miriam Hakim, MD, is an internal medicine physician who provides primary care for adults, including preventive care and diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. She enjoys developing relationships with her patients and educating them about their health. She has worked with a diverse patient population during her training, and thus strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally competent care.
Dr. Hakim completed her residency training at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, yoga, biking, and reading. Dr. Hakim speaks conversational Levantine Arabic and has intermediate skills in Spanish.
