About Tara Schlosser, MA, LMFT
Tara Schlosser, MA, is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) within Integrated Behavioral Health where she collaborates with primary care physicians to provide whole-person care to clients. She provides care to adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, school and occupational stressors, stress and life transitions.
Tara's treatment approach is to create a therapeutic relationship with clients and to provide a safe environment in order to assist them with overcoming their challenges. She also utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused modalities in treatment.
Tara's diverse experience includes working with children, adolescents, families and adults in a school environment and in an outpatient setting. She also has experience with utilization management and assessing medical necessity for higher levels of care for Blue Shield of California.
She earned a Master's of Arts degree in counseling psychology from University of San Francisco.
When not working, Tara enjoys spending time with family and her dog, traveling, watching movies and going to amusement parks.
