About Chelsea Duer, PT, DPT, PRPC
Chelsea Duer, DPT, is a physical therapist who specializes in providing outpatient care and treatment at the Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion for adults with a variety of pelvic health conditions.
Duer's practice includes helping patients with pelvic pain associated with sexual intercourse, vulvodynia, vestibulodynia, bowel and bladder dysfunction, urinary and fecal incontinence, constipation, interstitial cystitis, impairments with pregnancy, and postpartum rehabilitation.
She is passionate about her career, and making sure her patients feel heard and understood. Duer finds physical therapy helpful to see how impairments are affecting the patient as a whole to treat them accordingly. It is extremely rewarding for her to see patients' quality of life improve from resolving their impairments and getting them back to their prior level of function.
Duer obtained her doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos. She completed additional coursework at the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute to specialize in pelvic health. She is a certified pelvic rehabilitation practitioner.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, baking, reading, and spending time with her husband.
