About Mikolaj Sulikowski, MD

Mikolaj Sulikowski, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients, performing diagnostic admissions and treating a variety of acute medical conditions such as acute renal failure and diabetic complications. As a hospitalist, Dr. Sulikowski is assigned to patients at the time of admission and provides care only during their hospital stay. Upon a patient's hospital discharge, Dr. Sulikowski communicates with their regular physician to ensure quality transition of care.

As an academic hospitalist, he serves as an associate physician in the Division of Hospital Medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where he also completed his fellowship in hospital medicine. Dr. Sulikowski completed his residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital at Hofstra University/Northwell Health Zucker School of Medicine and earned his medical degree from Medical University of Gdańsk in Poland.
