About Erin Cerney, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, AGACCNS
Erin Cerney, MSN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She is part of the gastroenterology department, specifically the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center. She focuses on treating people with inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Prior to joining the IBD Center, Erin worked as a nurse in medical-surgical, trauma and endoscopy settings. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients across their life span.
Erin earned her master's degree in nursing with a dual emphasis as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist from San Diego State University School of Nursing. She completed her bachelor's degree in nursing from University of Illinois at Chicago.
She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates.
Erin is originally from the greater Chicagoland area. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family and seeing live music.
