About Dori Mortimer, MD, FAAP
Dori Mortimer, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Mortimer provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She has a special interest in working with new parents and helping them navigate this exciting time. Dr. Mortimer enjoys seeing her young patients grow into teens and being a part of that process, but she thinks she is most helpful to families whose children require complex medical care. She says children are amazing and it is truly special for her to be part of a child and family's lives, and help nurture their growth and development.
Dr. Mortimer completed her residency at UC Diego School of Medicine and earned her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Mortimer is fluent in Spanish.
