Charlotte Pickett, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist who provides comprehensive gynecological care and treats a wide variety of conditions, affecting persons of all ages. She specializes in severe endometriosis, pelvic pain and large uterine fibroids. She also treats patients regarding abnormal and heavy periods, ovarian cysts, infertility and performs hysterectomy, hysteroscopy and gender-affirming surgery. Dr. Pickett is an expert in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and uses advanced surgical techniques including laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Her goal is to educate patients using up-to-date evidence and patient-reported outcomes. She enjoys learning about her patients' values and partnering with them in making surgical decisions that improve their quality of life. Minimally invasive surgery is an excellent choice as it reduces the risk of complications and shortens recovery time. She focuses on prioritizing fertility goals and working with an interdisciplinary team to offer safe treatment options for even the most complex cases.
Dr. Pickett completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque and earned her medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Pickett is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, American Medical Women's Association and the American Medical Association.
In her free time, she enjoys running, mountain biking, cooking and learning how to surf. She speaks Spanish fluently.
