About William Andrew, DO
William Andrew, DO, is a board-certified family medicine doctor who provides primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. He specializes in sports medicine including diagnosing, treating and preventing injuries associated with athletics. He also has training in and practices osteopathic manual medicine.
Dr. Andrew uses a holistic approach to care with an emphasis on shared decision making. He considers it a privilege to be part of an individual's health care team and helping patients achieve their health goals.
He completed fellowship training in sports medicine and residency training in family medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Andrew completed his doctor of osteopathy degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine.
Dr. Andrew is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Medicine Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
In his free time, he enjoys exercise and fitness, including Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit, basketball, hiking, swimming, science fiction, creative writing, traveling and spending time with family.
