About Jeshmin Bhaju, PhD
Jeshmin Bhaju, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist at UC San Diego Health's Integrated Behavioral Health Program. Dr. Bhaju has extensive experience providing mental health care in a medical setting. She collaborates with primary care providers to deliver short-term psychotherapy to adults presenting with a wide range of mental and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, insomnia and relationship difficulties. She also helps individuals cope with challenges associated with chronic medical conditions. She utilizes cognitive and behavioral strategies to empower people to improve their emotional health and overall functioning.
Dr. Bhaju completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and pre-doctoral internship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She earned her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Auburn University. She is licensed in the state of Washington and California. She is a member of the American Psychological Association.
