About Timothy Dang, MD
Timothy Dang, MD, practices general dermatology with special interests in oncodermatology (the management of dermatologic issues and toxicities that arise in the setting of cancer treatment) and cutaneous lymphoma. He strives to provide patient-centered and tailored dermatologic care, with an emphasis on a palliative approach—symptom-directed care with a focus on quality of life.
As an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology, he trains medical students and residents at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Dang completed his residency in dermatology at the Harvard Combined Dermatology Residency Training Program, during which he maintained a continuity clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He completed his medical school training at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Dang grew up in Yorba Linda, Calif. and Carlsbad, Calif. In his free time, he enjoys running, swimming, cooking, and exploring new restaurants and hiking trails throughout Southern California.
