Simone Pastore, DO, FAAP

Simone Pastore, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network. 

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region. 

As a pediatrician, Dr. Pastore provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She enjoys watching children grow and develop their milestones. Being a new parent allows her to better connect and guide her patients and their families through everyday concerns, sudden illness and adversity. Dr. Pastore likes becoming a part of her patients' family as she truly believes it takes a village to raise a child. Her goal is not only to treat the child, but also to make the family comfortable with her guidance and the plan they create together.
Dr. Pastore completed her residency in pediatrics at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ and earned her medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and fluent in Russian.

Outside of work, Dr. Pastore enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They like walking their dog at the beach and parks, going to farmers' markets and adventures on the water. Dr. Pastore loves immersing herself in new cultures and languages, experimenting with new recipes and getting lost in a new town exploring local shops and boutiques.
