About Christopher Larson, MD, PhD
Christopher Larson, MD, PhD, is a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in sarcoma. He works with our specialists in cancer surgery and radiation, and uses chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy as part of each patient's individualized treatment plan.
Dr. Larson is also a physician-scientist who does research on oncolytic viruses and their potential for use in cancer immunotherapy.
He completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology/oncology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Larson earned his medical degree and PhD in biophysics at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
He is board certified in internal medicine and hematology and medical oncology.
Dr. Larson is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
