Tyler Brobst, MD   

Tyler Brobst, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through Perlman Pediatrics. He is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.  

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.  

As a pediatrician, Dr. Brobst provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. He has pediatrician experience at various clinics in San Diego, seeing kids of all ages for urgent and primary care. Dr. Brobst enjoys working with children and establishing relationships with patients and their families. He is particularly passionate about working with and advocating for LGBTQ+ youth and families, and believes that patients of all backgrounds deserve caring, compassionate medical care. 

Dr. Brobst completed his residency in pediatrics at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego and earned his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. He is board certified in pediatrics. 

Outside of work, Dr. Brobst spends his free time outdoors hiking and at the beach, and strives to stay active through yoga, cycling and Pilates classes. He enjoys trying new coffee shops and restaurants around San Diego, as well as spending time with friends, family and his orange tabby, Elio.
