About Patricia Lee, MD, FAAP

Patricia Lee, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Lee provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She decided to become a pediatrician because she wanted to empower children from an early age to make healthy choices in their lives. The ability to watch children grow, develop personalities and find their passions and gifts is incredible to Dr. Lee. She is glad to be a part of that journey along with their parents.

Dr. Lee completed her residency at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford Medical Center and earned her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Lee is fluent in Korean.

Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They love to swim, go to the beach, hike, cheer on the Stanford football team and have movie nights. Dr. Lee likes reading, cooking and gardening, which she says is a fun (and free!) way to incorporate more vegetables into her family's diet.
